Door Closer 900 Series
Models:
914N – Adjustable for spring sizes 1-4. Meets
5lbs., maximum opening force for
interior doors, and 8.5lbs., maximum opening force for
exterior doors.
936N – Adjustable for spring sizes 3-6 to meet a variety
of on-site conditions.
Certification:
All 900N Series closers are U.L. and C.U.L. listed for
use on 3 hour or lesser doors. They conform to the
requirements of ANSI A156.4, Grade 1, and meet the
requirements of UL10C and UBC7.2 (1997) for positive
pressure. 914N closers meet the standard of ANSI A117.1
for barrier free accessibility.
Features:
• Non-handed for regular, top jamb and parallel arm
mount applications.
• Two non-critical adjusting valves (sweep and latch)
work to provide consistent
closing speeds through a wide range of temperatures.
• Finishes: Aluminum (689) AL, Dark Bronze (690) DBZ,
Light Bronze (691) LBZ, Gold
(696) GL and Black (693) BLK.
• Packaging: 1 per box, 6 per master carton.

Models:
5016N – Adjustable for spring sizes 1-6. Meets
5lbs., maximum opening force for
interior doors, and 8.5lbs., maximum opening force for
exterior doors.
Certification:
The 5016N Series closers are U.L. and C.U.L. listed for
use on 3 hour or lesser doors. They are certified to the
requirements of ANSI A156.4, Grade 1, and meet the
standards for UL10C and UBC7.2 (1997) for positive
pressure. The 5016N Series also meets the standard
of ANSI A117.1 and ADA for barrier free accessibility.
Features:
• Non-handed for regular, top jamb and parallel arm
applications.
• Adjustable backcheck is standard. Provides cushioning
for uncontrolled door openings.
• Backcheck positioning valve is standard. Maintains
effective backcheck range on
parallel arm applications. The valve is accessible while
the closer is installed.
• Available with optional delayed action adjusted with
separate independent valve.
Delays door closing to allow unimpeded passage through
the opening.
• Available with streamline or full plastic cover
• Designed to minimize change in closing speed during
severe temperature changes.
• Finishes: Aluminum (689) AL, Dark Bronze (690) DBZ,
